Chat & Connect are social meet-ups for seniors to meet, make friends, and socialise while enjoying coffee and cake.

Who is this for?

These social meet-ups are for those ages 60 and older (50 and older for First Nations Peoples), inclusive of diverse sexuality, gender, and cultural identity.

Chat & Connect is a free social meet-up for older people hosted by Senior Social Connection Program.

The Senior Social Connection Program is a free program which supports older people to access a range of peer support and community-based activities.

This program aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness in older people.

Morning tea is provided.

Location, Dates & Times

Chat & Connect groups are run at various locations across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie:

Maroochydore is held fortnightly on Fridays from 10:30 am – 12 pm at Millwell Road Community Centre.

Nambour is held fortnightly on Thursdays from 10:30 am – 12 pm Nambour Community Centre.

Gympie is held weekly on Wednesday from 12.30  – 2.00 pm.
