Gambling venue staff training
Overview
This free, online training teaches venue staff how to support and protect clients, colleagues, and themselves in the instance of gambling harm.
Training will cover three core modules:
- Understanding gambling harm
- Connecting with patrons
- Taking care of yourself.
This training has been developed by Queensland’s Department of Justice (DoJ).
Who is this training for?
This training is for gambling venue staff.
This training is suitable for:
- New staff members
- As an annual refresher for existing staff members.
Dates & times
Training is offered on fortnightly Tuesdays. Please visit the registration form to see upcoming dates.
It runs from 8:30 – 10 am.
Training is also available on-demand upon request.
