The Pop Stars workshop supports children who have or are currently experiencing parental separation, conflict, and changes in their family situation.
Pop Stars aims to help your children with understanding what’s going on, providing them with coping strategies, and building up their resilience.
Who is this for?
This workshop is for children aged 10-13 years-old who are experiencing parental or family separation.
Dates & Times
Pop Stars runs four terms, with one group every school term – usually starting around week 2 of the term. The group runs for a total of 6 sessions, 1 day a week:
- Term 1: February 4th 2025, to March 11th 2025.
Cost
There are no costs attached to this workshop.
Course Program
- Looking at transitioning between homes
- Adjusting to different house rules
- Feeling Caught in the middle of parental conflict
- Learning resilience and coping strategies
Information & Bookings
Parents are required to attend an intake appointment and complete paperwork before their children can attend the workshop.
The workshop runs from our Cairns venue and is an in-person workshop only. Children will be given a free afternoon tea during the workshop.
